What we believe
We believe that Jesus is the most important person in history. We believe that the story in the Bible unfolds and reveals God’s plan for the world which culminates in the birth, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus.
We believe that trusting Jesus’ death is the only way to be forgiven and to go to heaven and that Jesus will return again one day to right every wrong.
Our Story
Calderwood Valley Baptist Church (CVBC) publicly launched church services on Sunday August 18, 2024. It was planted by Wollongong Baptist Church (WBC) after 8 years of planning and generous support. We give thanks to God for bringing together a church plant team of 60 adults and children, largely from WBC. As a community of believers we long to reach the growing suburbs of Calderwood, Tullimbar and their surrounds with the good news of new life in Jesus. We would love you to join us as we pursue our mission ‘To know Christ, and to make him known.’
